Research interests

- Estimation and analysis of oceanic surface layer characteristics and variability from in-situ observations (World Ocean Database, Argo...), e.g. estimation and generation of data of mixed layer depth, temperature, salinity, and study the role of salinity on surface stratification

- Understanding SST/SSS regulation mechanisms and air-sea interactions at basin scale, especially in the Indian Ocean Area, at intra-seasonal to interannual timescales. One tool often used is Ocean or Coupled General Circulation Models (e.g. Nemo).
